Newborn Diapering with Lil' Campers NB AIO

Quick answer

The Lil' Campers NB AIO is a reliable all-in-one diaper for newborns 4-12 lbs, with cross-over snaps and an umbilical snap for a safe, leak-free fit from day one.

Step-by-step newborn diaper routine

1. Prepare your diaper station: Set up a changing area with a clean diaper, wipes, and a wet bag. Have the Lil' Campers NB AIO pre-washed (wash 3-5 times for full absorbency). Pre-washing is essential—unwashed bamboo is less absorbent and can cause leaks.
2. Fit the diaper on your baby: Lay the diaper flat, place your baby on it, and bring the front between their legs. Use the cross-over snaps to tighten the waist, and fold down the front flap if the umbilical cord stump is still attached. Snap the umbilical snap to keep the diaper below the stump. Check that the inner leg gussets are tucked into the leg creases to prevent leaks.
3. Change and store for washing: When wet or soiled, unsnap the diaper, wipe your baby, and place the diaper in a dry pail or wet bag. Do not soak—bamboo can discolor. Wash every 1-2 days using a cloth-diaper-safe detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach; they can damage bamboo fibers and reduce absorbency.
